The Pinecroft Sedgefield Fire District is a combination fire department located in southwest Guilford County and protects a 52 square mile district, including the Town of Jamestown.  PSFD operates out of 4 fire stations with a daily staffing of 16 full-time shift personnel.  Our volunteer membership consists of resident firefighters, interior firefighters, and support firefighters. PSFD responds to 3,900 calls per year with 4 Engine Companies, 2 Tankers and 1 Heavy Rescue protecting 52 miles of Interstate.  We are an ISO Class 2 fire department and a member of the North Carolina Local Government Retirement System.
