Welcome
The Pinecroft Sedgefield Fire District has a rich history and was established in 1952 by many dedicated volunteers giving of their time, talents and money.
The Pinecroft Sedgefield Fire District is located in southwest Guilford County and protects a 52 square mile district including the Town of Jamestown and a rural fire district. We operate out of five stations and employ 51 career personnel. We have over 12 volunteer firefighters on roster which includes a mixture of resident firefighters, interior firefighters, and support firefighters. We are an ISO rated department with a rating of 2.
We pride ourselves on the high level of service we provide to the citizens as well as those visiting or traveling through our district. PSFD responds on an average of 3,450 calls each year, with the safety of our personnel and those we serve being our highest priority. In addition to emergency responses, we have a very innovative Fire and Life Safety program that we teach to over 18,000 people annually.
It is the goal of PSFD and the professional men and women who serve it, to continually move the department forward in its service to the citizens of our district and our neighboring districts.
